The Big Day!!!

Here are a few pictures Llyle took at Joel's & Chelsea's wedding. It was so sweet & loving. I couldn't be any prouder of my granchildren than I am. They all are such sweethearts. (Even the ones that couldn't make it). Big storm went thru about 1/2 hour before outside wedding. So, the wedding was inside at Rotary Gardens. Just as beautiful & air conditioned. YES!!! I will talk to everyone later but her is a sneek peek.

Here is some pictures of Roz after dance recital last Saturday. I saw real dance potential in her. Maybe she will bring one of her outfits and dance for you. The songs are all on the internet.

The remodeled bathroom at Mom's. Just got it finished to tear down house. I liked the old one better.

They did the kitchen over too. Sorry the pictures are all mixed up. I haven't posted in 6 months and had to figure it all out again.

I love the table legs. I remember playing under them with you, Rita. We could keep Rhonda busy for about an hour with a dust rag. She would dust and shine up those legs.



Llyle & Marlene both thought it would be easy to refinish them.

My new grandog. Isn't she pretty. She is a Pom and her name is Gracie. Not quite sure if the spelling is right.

She is keeping Emily young. They play and roll around.

Roz and family are loving her. She came over tonight for her first visit.

The Last 10 Days

This is me for the last
10 days!! I have a UTI and have been setting at the computer playing games for a week now.
I have so much other good stuff to share but this is it for now.

This is the perfect set-up. Now, if the seat reclines and there was a cup holder for my water, it would be perfect. One stop living.

One in a Million Friend!!!

What a nice surprise!!! My friend Rosemary gave me a call. She is one of those friends that

gives me a lift and we have some good laughs. Well, tonight was no different. She is one of the 2 friends that I still have contact with from my LaLa Land days. People have told me I should write a story of my life. There would be some really good chapters in that book about me and Rose. Just thinking about some of them make me SMILE!!!

OH I Just Love Your Purse

My sister Rita has a thing for purses. Almost every purse I have ever owned I received from her or my Mom. This beauty was purchased at a garage sale about 5 years ago. I paid .50 for it.

I thought it would be good to store thread, needles, etc. That is what I used it for for a long time.

Then Amy saw it and said she really like it. I took a second look and decided I did too. I have never gotten so many comments on my purse. From nurses, Dr (female), checkout clerks, friends, neighbors etc. Rick asked me if that hay thing was my purse. Silly guy!!!

It is almost Labor Day and I know it isn't white but I will probably put it away for fall and winter.

AUGUST 22, 2009 BIG DAY

JOHN & DONNA BOMKAMP 50th Wedding Anniversary! Great party and it was great to see the whole family again.

Grandpa took Roz for another water ski lesson. As you can see, she loves it.

Then tonight we went to see Lex in a show. As always she was terrific.

And the entire day it is Rita's 60th Birthday. WOW

ROZ Water Skiing

She loved it. Grandpa took her down to Rock Aqua Jays clinic to learn how to water ski. 2 more Saturdays to go.

Garage Sale Tale

It's me. I've fallen and I can't get up. Good thing I have angels watching over me. A CNA stopped and helped me. Bloody nose and all. I am up in the middle of the night because I ache all over.
Jared and Roz are a good team to go rummaging with. We had a good time even after my fall.
