This is one amazing man. He woke up one morning about 5 weeks ago paralyzed. A disc slipped in his neck and he was rushed to the hospital. It was a miracle that the ONLY Doctor that worked with this kind of injury was there. She was to leave the day before to a new assignment. But, shewas still there. After surgery Chuck was taken to the VA Hospital in Madison for a few weeks. He is up walking around and has a good attitude. This same Dr has told him that 99% of people with this kind of injury never get out of a wheelchair. His fancy necklace is a device that vibrates and
helps blend the rods in his neck to the bone. He must wear it for at least 4 hours a day.
Please pray for him and his family. He needs to heal for at least a year. If he falls or has something else happen that is the end of his recovery. One shot at this surgery is all you get.
I am so impressed with his good attitude.
